Enphase Micro Inverters

Enphase microinverters shine in all kinds of weather. This is a fabulous, versatile solar system option - perfect for shady conditions or roof spaces that require intricate designs.

We also use Enphase as our inverter option of choice for many 2 phase installs, as it can allow for greater flexibility and inverter sizing within the Powercor network.

Enphase Solar is IP67 rated, meaning it can endure just about anything Mother Nature sends its way. Enphase microinverters allow for:

  • Data monitoring of performance of each individual module;
  • Allows splitting of array on different orientations;
  • Designed lifetime of over 25 years to match modules;
  • 10 year warranty.

SolarEdge Inverter

Another Solar Inverter Option is the Solar Edge Inverters.

The SolarEdge DC-AC PV inverter is specifically designed to work with the SolarEdge power optimisers. Because MPPT and voltage management are handled separately for each module by the power optimiser, the inverter is only responsible for DC to AC inversion.

Consequently, it is a less complicated, more cost effective, more reliable solar inverter with a standard 12 year warranty, extendable to 20 or 25 years.

The fixed string voltage ensures operation at the highest efficiency at all times independent of string length and temperature.

We like to use SolarEdge particularly on our commercial solar installs.
