Who Is Vortex Electrical

Vortex is a company based in the Geelong region that started in 2009. The company was established by Simon Hansen who is Managing Director of Vortex Electrical Pty Ltd.

Prior to establishing Vortex, Simon worked for various large commercial electrical enterprises working on some of the largest projects in Victoria.

Since moving to Armstrong Creek, Vortex has gone from strength to strength. What started out as a partnership has grown into a business which is a leader in its field.

We are 100% locally owned and operated and all our team are based in Geelong. We pride ourselves on supporting local business wherever we can and being in close proximity to be able to service and support our customers.

Where we started

Vortex is a leading electrical solar supply and installation company with a range of services and expertise that is unique in the industry.
We are unique in attitude and operation. Our dedicated team works collaboratively as one to ensure that every customer gets the best possible return on their outlay.

A key feature of our business is the after-care service that we provide. We can remotely monitor every system we install and regularly check in to ensure each customer's system is working optimally. We also ensure you understand how your system works so that you can make the most of it.

This allows both the customer and Vortex to monitor and review the electrical power being produced and generated into the power system, so that any performance issues can be quickly identified and resolved.

Although we specialise in solar design and installation for power generation and battery storage, we also install hot water solutions, heating and cooling and EV chargers.

Vortex also carries out other types of electrical work including; maintenance and installation of all power and lighting systems, power board upgrades, energy efficient lighting, electrical data and communication fit outs, closed circuit television (cctv) and security systems. Basically, anything electrical.

All staff are required to maintain the level of competency required in order to meet the requirements of the Electrical Licensing Commission. This includes ongoing training and up-skilling.
